Why they banned Wolf Of The Wall Street
As
unzipped the compressed file I was curious to see the so what about the
hyped movie.

The SNVL D (Sex, Nudity,
Violence and Language and Drugs) movie was released it was subsequently banned
before we even got to know why it was killed before it lived.
As always, the banning itself
popularized the movie.
“Have you watched it?”
“Yeah, camera copy but I
won’t mind clear film”.
“Here in the flash.
Three hours”.
As unzipped the
compressed file I was curious to see the so what about the hyped movie.
I have a weakness of
asking my reviewer how the movie ends because three hours are soooo looooong to
sit suspended. This time I did not. I was carried away. I did not know until
names started climbing up the screen.
So what? This movie is about stock market. The main
man Leonardo Dicaprio makes both legal and dirty money and escapes law for some
time until he is nabbed to serve a slap-in-the-wrist jail term.
I passively streamed
#theTrend interview of a film manager explain to Larry Madowo why the film was
banned. I was not convinced. Kwani, do they ban the movies for adults as well?
Is it an affront to fundamental human rights or they are being protective and
shielding our culture from being corrupted by the West?
Some fellows where
arrested by police for pirating it. Like Jicho Pevu documentaries the commodity
got hotter and the CDs flied off the movie shop shelves albeit hidden. Whether
you cracked the Cypher, burned a banned movie and made money you in the end
watched the movie.
I particularly liked the
“sell me this pen” form of demonstrating one’s marketing skills. It honed the
much needed marketing skills in me. Who knows, I may employ such skills in
pushing Varsity Post off the dusty shelves it has occupied since Issue 1.
